AsiX customers have the opportunity to better protect their data with the new option of using 2-factor authentication (2FA) when logging in.
Two-factor authentication is common practice when logging into web-based services or portals. It requires the user to provide two distinct and independent forms of identification in order to be granted access to the service. Access will be denied if only one of the two proofs has been provided.
AsiX has opted for the combination of username/password and a one-time password, which is generated by an OTP app. The users must therefore enter their username and password when logging in, as before, and then the one-time password from the app.
